Women Making History in the Flavors and Fragrances Industry Before we fully spring into April, we wanted to take a moment and reflect on Women’s History Month, which took place in March. The month recognized and celebrated women’s invaluable commitments to nature and the world. As a tribute of our own, Sigma-Aldrich gathered key women within the Flavors & Fragrances industry and asked them to share their experiences, influences and how they are shaping the future of our business. Here are a few of the women making history in Flavors & Fragrances.
A Twist on Citrus As society continues to push towards healthier lifestyles, the trend for natural ingredients continues. The public is demanding natural and unique flavors and we see the impact in the citrus scene. Beyond the traditional citrus flavors of Lemon, Lime, Orange and Grapefruit, consumers want hybrid and unique citrus flavors like mandarinquats, limequats or yuzus.
